Uzair Hameed

Uzair was born in Pakistan and immigrated to Canada with his family when he was four years old, and has called Calgary home ever since. Uzair attended the University of Calgary and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He went on to attend law school at the University of Victoria, receiving his Juris Doctor in 2023. During law school, Uzair volunteered with the Business Law Clinic and worked at a boutique class action firm in Vancouver.

Following law school, Uzair joined a litigation firm in downtown Vancouver where he completed his articles and practiced primarily in personal injury law until moving back to Calgary. Since returning to Calgary, Uzair practiced at a full-service firm where he focused primarily on civil litigation. Uzair now practices exclusively in family law. He is called to the Bar in both Alberta and British Columbia, and has experience representing clients before the courts in both provinces.

Outside the office, Uzair can be found at the gym, reading, or chasing down his cat.
